Український фентезі-фільм «Сторожова застава» Юрія Ковальова представить Україну на фестивалі FICCI BAF Awards в Індії.
Стрічку номінували на премію за найкращі візуальні ефекти.
Фільм «Сторожова застава» зняли за книжкою Володимира Рутківського.
Шестикласник Вітя через портал часу потрапляє із сучасності в 1120 рік.
Давньоруський богатир Ілля Муромець вважає, що це його зниклий племінник. Хлопець допомагає боронити сторожову заставу русичів від загарбників зі сходу.
Вітя вчиться стріляти з лука, володіти мечем, звертається по допомогу до давніх слов’янських божеств — Перуна й Велеса, за сюжетом.
Спецефекти до картини створила київська компанія Postmodern. Вона вже отримувала нагороду FICCI BAF Awards в 2014 році за візуальні ефекти до драматичного міні-серіалу «Метелики» Віталія Воробйова.
Окрім «Сторожової застави», на перемогу у цій номінації претендують американські картини «Той, що біжить по лезу 2049», «Пригоди Паддінгтона-2», «Вартові Галактики-2» та індійський фільм «Бахубалі-2: закінчення».
Вручення нагород відбудеться 5 березня в Мумбаї.
Премія FICCI BAF Awards була заснована в Індії 2004 року. Її отримують найкращі професіонали у створенні візуальних ефектів та анімації.
