«Ми стоїмо на позиції біля Катеринівки, яку нещодавно взяла під контроль 10-та окрема гірсько-штурмова бригада ЗСУ.
На вулиці неподалік кукурікає півень, і його спів заглушує “прильоти”. Перемога життя над війною.
Сергій – молодий хлопець у балаклаві – розповідає, що обстріли почалися відучора.
“Ми зайняли цю територію без шуму, без крику, може, через це вони (сепари) образилися на нас, що ми полізли”, – припускає військовий.
“Це наша територія, українська, ми тут стояли, стоїмо і стоятимемо. Готові і надалі займати українські міста і села, що тимчасово опинилися під окупацією. Якщо треба, буде і шум, і крик”, – додає він.
Сергій не був удома вже скоро чотири роки. Він із Криму, з Сімферополя. Каже, що на Донбасі воює і за малу Батьківщину також – і сподівається повернутись в український Крим.
Сергій розповідає, що місцеві в Катеринівці добре налаштовані до українських вояків. І згадує випадок, який стався наприкінці літа на околицях цього села.
“Маленька дівчинка підбігла до нас із побратимами, сказала, що вона рада, що ми прийшли. І подарувала квіти. Приємно було на душі. Дуже приємно”, – військовий розчулюється, його сірі очі зволожуються.
Після того, як Катеринівка із “сірої”, нічийної, остаточно стала українською, бойовики посилили обстріли наших позицій на краю села. Відкривають вогонь переважно з автоматів та кулеметів, зокрема і великокаліберних.
Але Сергій визнає, що нинішні бої – бліда тінь тих, які були в 2014-му. Саме тоді, на початку війни, він прийшов на фронт. Спершу як боєць батальйону МВС “Дніпро-1”. Нині він служить у 10 огшбр (ППД – Коломия, зона відповідальності – Луганщина).
“Я дуже хочу повернути Крим, у мене там мама і батько. Один я тут. Пішов із Майдану звільняти Донбас, щоб потім повернутися додому. Сподіваюсь, що підемо на штурм Криму”, – розповідає боєць.
Батьки не знають, що син воює. Сергій про це їм не каже, аби не хвилювались.
Вони – проукраїнські і дуже чекають, коли повернуться на Батьківщину.
“На жаль, у Криму зараз дуже небезпечно любити Україну”, – зітхає Сергій.
Він пильно дивиться у порожній степ, порослий високою сухою сіро-жовтою травою. Поле давно не бачило трактора, давно не давало хліба.
“Віра, любов до України – це тримає на фронті, – каже військовий. – Росіяни прийшли і сказали, що наш дім нам більше не належить, але не можна так просто взяти і забрати в людини найдорожче”.
