Македония прямо обвинила Россию во вмешательстве в ее внутренние дела.
За последние три года интерес России к ранее не замечаемой ею Македонии значительно возрос, утверждает лидер македонского Демократического союза за интеграцию Али Ахмети, связывая это с евроатлантической интеграцией его страны, пишет Сегодня.
В качестве примера активного вмешательства Кремля во внутренние дела Македонии Ахмети приводит участившееся упоминание этой страны главой МИД РФ Сергеем Лавровым, который выучил названия едва ли не всех македонских деревень.
«Три года назад Республика Македония вообще не интересовала Кремль, но с тех пор министр иностранных дел России Сергей Лавров начал на каждой конференции, каждом публичном мероприятии демонстрировать знание всех македонских сел с малейшими проблемами», – говорит он в эфире канала «Нова».
Особенно жесткими Ахмети назвал последние слова Лаврова, который назвал «глубокой провокацией для российской политики» возможное членство Македонии в НАТО, и поэтому этого нельзя допустить.
Политик называет это философией и дипломатией Кремля в отношении западного блока и западной культуры.
«30 сентября мы вырвемся из сферы интересов России в западнобалканском регионе», – напомнил Али Ахмети о дате референдума насчет изменения конституционного названия Македонии – последнего препятствия на пути вступления страны в НАТО.
Напомним, что ранее в провокациях из-за присоединения Македонии к НАТО Россию обвинили США.
По этой же причине министр обороны США Джеймс Мэттис посетил Македонию.
Кроме того, Македония стала одной из многих стран, которые выслали российских дипломатов из-за «дела Скрипалей» в Великобритании.
