Вчера в Украине официально запустился сервис Apple Pay.
Изначально — для клиентов Приватбанка, в ближайшее время он станет доступным клиентам второго крупного государственного банка — Ощадбанка.
НВ рассказывает, что такое Apple Pay и как начать им пользоваться.
Apple Pay – это платежная система от Apple. Была представлена в 2014 году. На текущий момент работает в 28 странах (включая Украину), в том числе в США, некоторых странах Европы, России, Великобритании, Японии, Новой Зеландии, Гонконге, Китае, Сингапуре и других.
Википедия утверждает, что с помощью Apple Pay также можно оплачивать покупки в странах, где система пока не запущена, если к устройству привязана карта банка-партнера Apple.
Бесконтактная оплата при помощи Apple Pay доступна только для «яблочных» устройств: смартфонов и часов посредством приложения Wallet, в которое нужно внести данные карты.
Также Apple Pay позволяет оплачивать покупки в приложениях и на сайтах через браузер Safari (аналогичную возможность анонсировал Google для своей платежной системы и похожим образом работает MasterPass от MasterCard) на устройствах Mac не старше 2012 года с OS Sierra.
С каждой транзакции Apple зарабатывает комиссию, которая составляет доли процента и колеблется в зависимости от страны.
Где платить бесконтакно при помощи Apple Pay?
Теперь владельцы iPhone, как и владельцы Android-смартфонов с NFC, смогут оплачивать покупки везде, где есть POS-терминалы с бесконтактной оплатой: в торговых точках, на АЗС, в заведениях, в специальных «желтых» терминалах в киевском метро, на фуникулере, в некоторых трамваях столицы и в львовском трамвае, где бесконтактная оплата запустилась 16 мая.
Это безопасно?
Да, бесконтактная оплата — это безопасно. Во-первых, потому что не нужно доставать кошелек и карточку и вводить PIN-код в людном месте, где его кто-то может элементарно «подсмотреть».
Во-вторых, если говорить о самой системе, то это также безопаснее, чем оплата обычной картой. При оплате через Apple Pay данные о платежной карте не передаются продавцу, вместо них система отправляет динамический код безопасности (одноразовый токен) и уникальный код устройства. Даже если мошенники каким-то образом перехватят одноразовый ключ, то все равно не смогут использовать его второй раз.
Сама Apple не сохраняет данные о транзакции. В Apple Pay даже не хранится номер карты, ей лишь присваивается номер учетной записи, он не загружается в iCloud, а хранится в безопасном чипе на устройстве.
Как пользоваться Apple Pay?
Для использования Apple Pay нужен iPhone не младше 6-го поколения или часы Apple Watch, а также карточка банка и платежной системы, которая поддерживается системой. Как мы уже писали выше, на данный момент в Украине это должна быть карта платежной системы MasterCard или VISA, эмитированная Приватбанком.
Данные банковской карты необходимо внести в приложение Wallet.
Дальше все очень просто.
В настройках приложения Wallet можно включить опцию вызова оплаты при заблокированном экране. Она работает так — вы подносите карту к терминалу оплаты (так же как вы делаете это сегодня с банковскими картами, которые поддерживают такую функцию). дважды нажимаете клавишу Home на iPhone и на экран вызывается меню, в котором можно выбрать карту, с которой осуществляется оплата (если вы добавили в Wallet несколько карт), а затем подтверждение оплаты отпечатком пальца либо сканированием лица (если у вас iPhone X).
