Компания Google создала проект искусственного интеллекта Medical Brain, который способном самостоятельно предсказать смерть пациента на основе полученных медицинских данных, пишет «Strana.ua».
Система базируется на составлении нейросетей, приспособленных для автономного обучения и развития.
Программа сможет прогнозировать не только вероятность смерти или выздоровления пациента, но и сроки нахождения в больнице и шансы повторного заболевания.
Искусственный интеллект анализирует ранее недоступные данные о пациенте, такие как записи из PDF-файлов и старых диаграмм. В прошлом анализ данных требовал от врачей больших временных затрат, однако теперь, это время они могут уделять пациентам.
Кроме того, система позволит быстрее и эффективнее делать предположения о ходе развития болезни.
По словам авторов проекта, Medical Brain смог предсказать смерть женщины, больной раком груди, точнее, чем врачи.
По оценкам врачей, пациентка могла умереть с вероятностью в 9,3%. Однако, проанализировав 175,6 тысяч факторов, Medical Brain дал другой результат, определив вероятность смерти женщины в ближайшие дни в 19,9%. Больная скончалась в больнице через несколько суток после этого.
Авторы проекта уверены, что новая система в будущем позволит ставить более точные диагнозы, а значит, спасти множество жизней.
