Объявление даты и место проведения финала Всемирной суперсерии бокса (WBSS) между Александром Усиком и Муратом Гассиевым было отложено на более поздний срок.
В четверг, 24 мая, в Москве должна была состояться пресс-конференция, приуроченная к бою, однако мероприятие отменили.
Причиной стал провал в переговорах между организаторами WBSS и генеральным секретарем Федерации бокса России (ФБР) Умаром Кремлевым.
«В среду вечером состоялись непростые переговоры. Решение по месту и времени проведения боя принято не было. В связи с этими обстоятельствами запланированная в четверг пресс-конференция, к большому сожалению, не состоится», – говорится в заявлении пресс-службы ФБР.
Отмечается, что попытки прийти к соглашению стороны продолжат на будущей неделе.
Напомним, бой Усик – Гассиев был запланирован на 11 мая в аравийской Джидде, но из-за травмы украинского чемпиона его отложили.
После этого российская сторона заявила о намерении провести поединок в Сочи или Москве.
Как сообщал OBOZREVATEL, по данным СМИ, бой Усик – Гассиев должен пройти 21 июля не на российской территории.
