Флот будет использовать судно в качестве вспомогательной единицы. В ВМСУ сообщают, что судно стоит в порту Рени.
Корабль регулярно заходил в Крым под флагом Танзании, но владельцем является молдавская компания.
Примечательно, что после задержания судна его владелец пытался дать украинскому военному прокурору взятку в размере 75 тысяч долларов США и был задержан. Его судят по 369 статье УК Украины.
На борту судна находится 3 тысячи тонн каустической соды, которую планируют продать. Ранее суд признал капитана Sky Moon, гражданина Сирии, виновным в контрабанде, нарушении порядка въезда на временно оккупированную территорию Украины и служебном подлоге.
Он был оштрафован на 18,5 миллионов гривен. Всем членам экипажа Sky Moon запретили въезд в Украину сроком на три года.
