Воїн 14 омбр Іван Борсук із Полісся помер унаслідок поранення під Попасною.
У неділю, 8 липня, в Харківському військовому госпіталі помер боєць 14-ї окремої механізованої бригади ЗСУ Іван Борсук.
Як передає “Новинарня“, про це повідомив Дубровицький райвійськкомат Рівненської області.
Зазначається, що причиною смерті стали поранення, отримані в районі міста Попасна Луганської області.
Іван Іванович Борчук народився 9 липня 1986 року в селі Лютинськ Дубровицького району.
2006 року закінчив Західноукраїнський коледж “Полісся” в місті Березне, де навчався на правознавчому відділенні.
Строкову службу проходив у 2006-2007 роках (в/ч А0284 – 80-та окрема десантно-штурмова бригада).
Під час мобілізації був призваний до лав ЗС України 2015 року в третій хвилі. У серпні 2014-го – січні 2016 року служив у 128-й окремій гірсько-штурмовій бригаді.
“При виконанні бойових завдань проявив мужність та героїзм під час операцій в м. Дебальцеве, за що указом президента України від 26.02.2015 року був нагороджений орденом «За мужність » ІІІ ступеня, нагороджений також медаллю «Захисник Вітчизни», пам’ятною медаллю «128 ОГПБр військова розвідка», нагрудним знаком «Ветеран війни – УБД»”, – зазначено в повідомленні.
У травні 2018 року Іван підписав контракт на проходження військової служби в 14 омбр.
29 червня, під час обстрілу позицій підрозділу в районі Попасної з боку незаконних збройних формувань із застосуванням РПГ та стрілецької зброї, Іван Борсук отримав вогневе кульове поранення голови.
Медики боролися за життя воїна десять днів…
У загиблого залишилися батьки, старша сестра, дружина і донечка Христина 2009 р. н.
Прощання з бійцем на малій батьківщині плануються 10 липня.

Раніше помер морпіх Едуард Федоров, також унаслідок важкого поранення, отриманого ще в червні.
