В украинской армии планируется создать отдельный род войск — медицинский, заявил начальник Главного военно-медицинского управления — начальник медицинской службы Вооруженных сил Украины, полковник медицинской службы Игорь Хоменко.
Он уточнил, что за принцип реформирования взята медицинская служба Вооруженных сил Германии — Бундесвера.
«Мы изучили большинство систем союзников, но на текущем этапе и на перспективу для нас наиболее короткий путь — это, действительно, система Бундесвера, которая была выбрана в сотрудничестве с иностранными советниками», — сказал он.
Система стопроцентно не будет такой же, как в Германии, но ее основные принципы будут сохранены: единый орган управления медицинским обеспечением, единая вертикаль подчинения, медики будут отвечать за медицинское обеспечение, от них отойдут несвойственные им функции и они будут заниматься только своей работой, — отметил начальник Главного военно-медицинского управления.
По его словам, новая система позволит выстроить полную медицинскую вертикаль ответственности в отношении медицинского обеспечения: от начала лечения и до завершения реабилитационного процесса, сообщает «Укринформ».
Он пояснил нашему корреспонденту, что сейчас медиков Вооруженных сил свыше 20 тысяч человек, если будет создан отдельный род войск — медицинский, туда войдут примерно 10% от количества представителей Вооруженных сил, а это около 25 тысяч.
Реформу медицинской службы, в частности, создание отдельного рода войск, запланировано провести до 2021 года.
