Основатели финтех стартапа monobank предупредили клиентов о мошеннических сайтах
В сети интернет стали активно появляться фейковые сайты, имитирующие мобильную платформу monobank.
Об этом на своей странице в Facebook рассказал один из основателей проекта Олег Гороховский.
И предупредил, что компания не делала прежде и не намерена создавать в будущем десктопную версию своего приложения. Потому все похожие на monobank сайты являются детищем жулико, пишет UBR.
По его словам, создаваемые злоумышленниками сайты преследуют единственную цель: подменить смартфон клиента своим. Поскольку одним из идентификатором пользователя в системе является уникальный номер аппарата IMEI.
«Мы не планируем делать версию для десктопов и любые подобные сообщения просто отправляйте в спам. Также мы нигде не просим вводить ПИН, а SMS-код клиент monobank вводит всего один раз, когда регистрируется в приложении», — написал Гороховский.
При этом экс-менеджер Приватбанка признался, что используемые банками системы защиты пользователей от мошенничества в сети не гарантируют пользователю безопасное управление счетом.
Потому monobank и не намерен создавать приложения и сайты для альтернативных платформ. Более того, по его словам, все пользователи системы Приват24 обречены потерять свои деньги.
Если вы пользуетесь клиент-банком с обычного компьютера, то можете быть уверены, что если у вас еще не украли деньги, это всего лишь вопрос времени. А если вы не пользуетесь компьютером, а у вашего банка есть компьютерная версия клиент-банка, то у вас тоже рано или поздно украдут деньги.
«Мы регистрировали сотни случаев компрометации клиентских счетов в десктопном Приват24 в день и тратили титанические усилия на борьбу с этой чумой.
Уверен, что после нашего ухода ситуация с безопасностью Приват24 лучше не стала.
Могу только представить, что происходит у коллег из других банков с девственными аутсорсинговыми системами ИТ-безопасности.
