Музей 3-го окремого полку спеціального призначення ССО в Кропивницькому поповнився пам’ятними експонатами – це приціл і сошки від снайперської гвинтівки “Рекорд”, а також хустка-“арафатка”, які належали загиблому бійцеві 3 опспп, старшині Андрію Шершню.
Ці речі приніс до музею волонтер Олександр, повідомляє сайт підрозділу, повідомляє Новинарня.
“Історія цих гвинтівок для нашого полку особлива. На початку війни в полку бракувало якісних снайперських гвинтівок, адже, окрім радянських СВД, нічого не було.
Тоді старшина Андрій Шершень привіз з арсеналу в Артемівську (тепер – Бахмут – “Н”), який утримували групи 3-го полку, 14 спортивних гвинтівок «Рекорд» (калібр 7,62*54), а місцеві волонтери вдосконалили їх.
Зокрема переобладнали гвинтівку Андрія якісним 25-кратними прицілом «Leupold», сошками «Harris»…
Пізніше модифікували і інші 14 гвинтівок”, – повідомляє 3-й полк.
Старшина Шершень загинув 29 липня 2014 року під час операції з пошуку та порятунку пілота Су-25 в селі Латишеве Донецької області. Тоді загинули 10 бійців полку, яких здав бойовикам місцевий фермер.
В пам’ять про Шершня наприкінці жовтня 2014 року волонтери придбали та обладнали ще шість спортивних гвинтівок «Рекорд», встановивши на них дорогі та якісні приціли фірми «Vortex», фінські 7-секційні глушники, сошки тощо.
Ці гвинтівки використовують наші снайпери і сьогодні під час бойових дій та на змаганнях.
Зокрема в червні 2016-го року снайперська група 3-го полку спецпризначення посіла перше місце на змаганнях снайперських груп у навчальному центрі “Десна”, використовуючи саме ці гвинтівки.
Волонтер відшукав та приніс до полку базові приціл та сошки, які зняли з гвинтівки Андрія під час удосконалення. Також Олександр передав до музею полку “арафатку” Андрія Шершня, яку снайпер не взяв на своє останнє завдання.
На сьогодні, окрім гвинтівок СВД та “Рекорд”, снайпери 3 опспп використовують новітню зброю вітчизняного виробництва Z10, британську та американську.
Музей-кімната бойової слави 3-го окремого полку спеціального призначення в Кропивницькому, яку було повністю відреставровано, відкрилася 16 лютого 2018 року.
До її експозиції увійшли експонати та фото, що розповідають про всі етапи існування полку.
