20 лютого 2014 року. За годинником моєї камери, дев’ята тридцять ранку, пише Alexey Furman на своїй сторінці у Facebook.
Одні з перших моїх фотографій того дня – відхід так званої “чорної роти” з-під Жовтневого палацу.
Декілька перших кадрів нерізкі – було дуже страшно. Ми тоді зрозуміли, що стріляють бойовими набоями.
Довго знімали з оглядового майданчика над “Глобусом”.
Далі з колегою перебігли міст і знімали, як поранених стежками біля Жовтневого несуть на Майдан. Заходили в Жовтневий. Ще трохи знімали.
Повернулился до готелю “Україна”, лобі якого перетворилося на польовий шпиталь.
До сих пір пам’ятаю все доволі епізодично, але відчуття залишилося. Відчуття, що сталося щось таке, що в жодному разі не мало статися. На жаль, у 2014 році його доведеться відчути ще не раз.
Протягом двох тижнів я ділився власними фотографіями з Революції Гідності в рамках привернення увагу до спільнокошту імерсивного документального проекту Aftermath VR: Euromaidan, над яким ми в New Cave Media працюємо з серпня 2017 року.
Наш проект є розповіддю про трагічний ранок 20 лютого 2014 року, коли на Інститутській в Києві загинуло 50 людей.
